What does it cost to get an online shop built?
You get your fixed price after the free 15-min intro call, before any work starts. It depends mainly on products and variants, payment and shipping methods, and a link to your inventory system or till. On top come costs paid directly to others, such as the Shopify fee or hosting. As a small business, OsAI doesn't charge VAT.
Shopify or WooCommerce: which fits my business?
Shopify is a rented shop: the provider handles servers, updates and security for a monthly fee. WooCommerce is a WordPress extension on your own web space, with more freedom and more upkeep. If you don't want to look after any tech, Shopify is often a good fit; if you already use WordPress, WooCommerce is more likely.
How long until my shop is online?
It depends on the scope and on how quickly product data, photos and feedback come in. A small range with finished photos is set up sooner than many items with variants and a link to an inventory system. You get a realistic estimate in the call, and you see the draft before you place an order.
Does OsAI take care of the legal notice, terms and withdrawal policy?
OsAI puts the legal texts in the right places and sets up the checkout with the required information. The texts themselves come from you, a law firm or a legal-text provider. Some providers keep their texts up to date through an interface to the shop. OsAI doesn't give legal advice.
Who owns the shop and the customer data?
The shop runs on your Shopify account or your own web space, and orders and customer data stay there with you. Once paid in full, you receive a right to use the design and setup for the agreed purpose, unlimited in time and place. The details are set out in the terms and conditions.
What if I already have a shop or a website?
OsAI clarifies both in the call: whether your product data can be taken over from your current shop or a rebuild makes more sense, and how the shop fits with your existing website. After that, the fixed price is set.
Does OsAI work on site in Stuttgart and the Rems-Murr district?
Yes. OsAI is based in Fellbach near Stuttgart and comes by in person across greater Stuttgart and the Rems-Murr district, for example for the first meeting or the walkthrough. Across Germany, the work runs over video.
