Starting point

What a trades business website has to do.

A trades business needs a website that puts its services and contact details clearly on a phone. Anyone with a broken boiler or planning a new bathroom wants three answers, fast.

Do they do this?

Services are laid out so people find their problem, from heat pumps to a full bathroom refit.

Are they near me?

Location and service area are clear at a glance, for people as much as for Google and AI search.

How do I reach them?

Calling or requesting an appointment takes one tap, with no hunting for the number.

What OsAI built

Six service areas and contact in one tap.

The website introduces the business on one homepage and gives each of its six service areas a page of its own. On a phone, calling and requesting an appointment stay within reach at all times.

Service areas with their own page

  • Heating & heat pumps
  • Building services: solar PV, drinking water, electrics
  • Bathroom & plumbing
  • Conversions & renovations
  • Commercial clients
  • Emergency service

Drag-to-compare before and after

A bathroom refit as an image comparison with a slider: the same site, before and after.

Five-step process

From the enquiry through the on-site visit and cost breakdown to the work itself and maintenance.

Emergency page with its own answers

A dedicated page for emergencies, with the most common questions and answers.

Directions and contact

Address, opening hours and a link that opens the route straight in Google Maps.

Simplified sketch: on a phone, a bar with “Call” and “Appointment” stays pinned to the bottom.
What mattered

What was important along the way.

Four points shaped the work. They apply just as much to every other OsAI website.

  1. Draft first

The business sees the site as a draft before committing. The decision is made on the finished picture, not on a description.

  2. Mobile first

Built for the small screen: short paths to every service and a call bar that stays in place while scrolling.

  3. Structured data

In the source code the business is described in machine-readable form as a plumber, with address, opening hours and services. Every service page carries its own details and a breadcrumb trail.

  4. Groundwork for Google and AI search

Its own title and description per page, a sitemap and an llms.txt: a short profile that explains the business to AI search tools like ChatGPT in plain facts.

Enquiry or ranking figures are deliberately left out here as long as there are no reliable ones.

For your business

Your business can have this too.

OsAI builds a website on the same principles for your business too. You see the draft before you sign anything.

Website
Fixed price

You get your fixed price after the free 15-min intro call, before any work starts. It depends on scope and is a final price: as a small business under § 19 of the German VAT Act, OsAI charges no VAT.

Ongoing care
Monthly, by scope

Changes, updates and one fixed contact once the site is live.
